CECELIA HITZKE
Administrator LNHA
Hello! My name is Cecelia Hitzke and I am the Administrator at Quail Meadow.
I have been in the Senior Living industry for over 5 years and found my passion in serving others.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Long-Term Care Administration from the Minnesota State University of Moorhead, and I am a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the states of Minnesota and Utah.
I’ve been married for 2 years to my husband, Tom. We enjoy hiking with our 2 dogs and being outdoors.
I was a piano teacher for 6 years in Minnesota and enjoy sharing my love of music.
It is an honor for me to be a part of the lives of the residents at Quail Meadow and to be a member of the dedicated team that cares for them.
NAKALA MERCER
Resident Care Coordinator
I’ve been working at Quail Meadow for two years and have been in Healthcare for about three; it’s my true calling. I grew up in Idaho and enjoyed cheerleading throughout high school. I enjoy going back to Idaho to see and be with family; they are a big part of my life and I consider my residents to be family as well. I look forward to my future here at Quail and learning new things.
CHARLOTTE KONDEL RN
Facility Nurse
I went to school at USU in Logan Ut. During this time I felt the need to serve a mission. I was called to serve in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission and loved every second of it. When I came back from my mission I went back to USU and majored in Family and Human Development with a gerontology certificate. My minor was voice. I was at one time able to sing opera, however if you don't use it you lose it. Now I do private solo concerts in my car or in the shower. Shortly after graduating with my BS degree I started looking for a job. Nothing in my field was of interest to me. I started to notice that the nursing jobs were a better fit. I decided that I needed to go back to school to get my nursing degree. I graduated with my LPN from BATC in Logan, and after a journey full of life adventures I had the opportunity to work towards my RN. I graduated from Nightingale Collage( sanity barley intact) with my associates in nursing. During my journey to get my education I started a family. I am the proud mother of three amazing and beautiful daughters. This has been the greatest joy of my life, and I am that mom that will embarrass my kids by clapping and screaming louder than anyone during their events.
As a nurse I have had many incredible jobs serving my community. I have worked with treachs and vents, peds, urology, psych, and some nursing homes. I am currently working as the DON at Quail Meadows as well as working as a hospice and home health. I love my job and the people I have been blessed to work with and learn from.
My other interests include music, theater, cross stitching, gardening, travel and learning new things.
